Accessibility

Last updated July 2026

A door everyone can open. Casventa is committed to a website that works for every visitor, including people who use assistive technology.

Our standard

This site targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. That target is a ship-blocking requirement in how we build, not an aspiration.

What that means here

  • Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body copy and 3:1 for large text, verified per color pair.
  • Every interactive element reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline on light and dark backgrounds.
  • A skip-to-content link as the first focusable element on every page.
  • Semantic structure: one main heading per page, ordered heading levels, real buttons and links, and page landmarks.
  • Visible, persistent labels on every form field — never placeholder-as-label.
  • Full support for reduced-motion preferences: all animation collapses when your system asks it to.
  • Usable at 200% zoom and at small viewports without horizontal scrolling.

Known limitations

The site is young and changes often ahead of launch. If something regresses, we want to know about it the day it happens.
